Pendleton Super-Six (And Other All-Day Events)

There are many new wrestlers, managers and parents on the team.  I wanted to give you some tips about all-day events and what you can expect, regarding food for the day.

The boys and managers will get hungry/thirsty throughout the day.  Many times the kids don’t know what to expect and come with nothing to eat/drink for the day. 

Please pack them a cooler or bring one so they will have something to eat/drink throughout the day. 

Usually there aren’t healthy foods for them to eat throughout the day that they can purchase from the concession stand. 
Normally the food from the concession stand consists of popcorn & nachos. 
They aren’t as creative as Patty.

Here are a few suggestions: 
Fruit or vegetable juices (orange, tomato, V8)
Fresh fruit (apples, watermelon, peaches, grapes, oranges)
Vegetables (carrots/low-fat dip)
Breads (bagels, muffins)
Sandwiches (with lean meat or peanut butter)
Other snacks (cheese/crackers, beef jerky, granola bars)
Other drinks (water, energy drinks, milk)
